From school leaver to management: Cameron Kellie puts down roots at DS McG Ltd

DS McG Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Cameron Kellie as Assistant Contract Manager.

Cameron (23) joined the company straight from Balfron High School in 2020, at the height of the Covid pandemic, having previously worked with DS McG during school holidays. Despite the challenges of starting work at that time, he has progressed through the business and excelled in a range of health & safety and environmental training modules.

The move is a natural next step from his Squad Leader role, following his recognition as Top Student in Landscaping (SCQF Level 5) by Gosta Training for achieving the highest grades throughout the two-year, day-release course.

DS McG Ltd now employs over 60 people across Scotland’s Central Belt. Managing Director David McGuffie commented: “It is great to see Cameron make the most of the opportunities available to him. Cameron is a highly valued member of the management team, and we look forward to seeing him progress in his new role.”
